Our love story began 8 years ago on an online dating app called Tinder, and it was love at first swipe! Within a week we were on our first date, where we quickly fell in love. Fast forward two businesses, a house, a few pets, a major surgery, a world-wide pandemic, and we are FINALLY going to tie the knot!
We've decided to have our wedding in Jamaica, allowing us to create a unique experience, and keep the celebration of our love intimate, with some of the most important people in our lives. We know that this trip might not be possible for all of our guests, so we will also host a Montreal BBQ a few weeks later to celebrate with those who did not make it to Jamaica.
OUR PLAN
Since Ocean Cliff Hotel is a small boutique hotel with stone cottages along the water, it will accomodate immediate family and the wedding party because its limited room capacity from May 3rd-7th (guests at Ocean Cliff can stay longer, or switch to the Riu Palace Tropical Bay if they wish to extend their trip) .
We suggest off-site guests stay at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay Negril from May 3rd - 10th as we will have roundtrip shuttles organized on May 5th for the wedding, and the newlyweds will transfer to the Riu on Tuesday May 7th through 10th. This will give all guests at the Riu a vacation with the wedding as an "excursion" and time to hangout with the newlyweds after the wedding.
