We've created a travel guide for our guests which covers basic travel information, as well as information about our destination, the wedding, the resorts, flights, packing lists, etc.

Travel costs can range between $2000 - $2900 CAD per person (inclusive of flights, accommodation, transfers, meal and beverage packages). Price varies depending on length of stay, and room choice. Additionally, booking flights with points will lower the cost.

Anyone who is travelling alone and would like to share a room with another guest, please notify Nat. She has a list of guests that can be paired up and will offer suggestions to make it a comfortable pairing!

Nat and Corey will contact guests with complete travel and accommodation details will be sent to guests after we receive their RSVP.

Ocean Cliff will be reserved for immediate family & bridal party from May 3rd - 7th 2024 due to limited accommodations. Guests staying at Ocean Cliff will be sent reservation details after they RSVP.

There will be a beach bonfire party for guests at Ocean Cliff on the night of Friday May 3rd with a floral / Hawaiian shirt theme.

We have organized an all-inclusive package with Ocean Cliff, and our group will have a property buy-out for the wedding weekend, meaning it is ONLY us at Ocean Cliff 🤩. This also allows guests to bring their kiddos.

Airport transfers for Ocean Cliff guests will be organized once flights are booked. Nat and Corey will cover airport transfers for guests that fly in around the same time as we were given fantastic group rates. We recommend trying to arrive on the 3rd around noon. Flying out on the 7th & 10th is recommended around 1pm.

Please send Nat flight details so she can organize transfers according to arrival and departure dates / times.

Ocean Cliff guests opting to stay until May 10th can extend their stay at Ocean Cliff with the same discount they have offered our group for May 3rd-7th (however food and beverage will be a-la-carte after breakfast on the 7th), or join us at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay (booking details below, but book only from May 7th-10th 2024).

**Since Ocean Cliff Hotel will be reserved for our group, they are allowing children on-site. Children under 5 are free, children between 6-14 years old are $80/night.

Guests staying at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay are suggested to book online (sadly their group rates were not different from online) from May 3rd or 4th - 10th 2024 (depending on how long you'd like to stay). If you have issues booking on the Riu website, email Nat for help.

We recommend to become a Riu Class member first because you will get perks - like free airport transfers! When signing up, use our number 96078036 in the "Recommended by Account #" section to start accumulating points which can be used when you are at the Riu. If you book the Riu before the flight, you can input transfers with 00 and update flight information later (you will get an email from them after booking). If you are switching to the Riu from Ocean Cliff, be sure to still update flight information for airport transfer back to airport!

There will be roundtrip shuttles organized from the Riu Palace Tropical Bay at 330pm on May 5th 2024 for our guests to attend the wedding.

The newlyweds will join guests at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay on May 7th for a few more nights of celebration & vacation!

Sunwing has exclusive access to booking Riu properties as vacation packages, however, their flights for May 2024 are on Sundays only (the wedding is ON sunday, so this does not work). The only other alternative would be booking as a package through Expedia or other 3rd party websites. When using those to book, you can still choose your room type and select from a variety of flights (they will automatically offer the cheapest in the initial price listed) but *please keep in mind* sometimes airport transfer is not included (so you would need double check those details at booking) . From our research, booking the Riu and flight separately will be more affordable.

**Riu Palace Tropical Bay is a family-friendly resort and can accomodate children of all ages.

Flights for early May 2024 have been released!

We are really excited to inform everyone that there are now DIRECT FLIGHTS from Montreal to Jamaica on some of our travel dates! Airtransat released a new flight schedule that includes direct flights in May on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.



GUESTS TRAVELLING MAY 3rd - 10th:

We have a group rate for direct roundtrip flights at $873.49 CAD per person.

May 3rd: MTL -> MBJ 830am-11:55am | May 10th: MBJ -> MTL 1:25pm - 6:45pm

These rate include all fees and taxes for direct airfares YUL - MBJ, 1 checked luggage and 1 carry on luggage, and our group will have seat selection at check-in 24h prior to departure. You must notify AirTransat via the travel agent of any additional luggage prior to travel. The travel agent takes a $148.86 deposit (includes fees and FICAV), and the balance is paid 30 days prior to travel. Deposit deadline is January 29th 2024. *EDIT our group does not need to check-in online prior to departure, we have organized a section of the aircraft for our group, and within those areas we can switch seats*

Our group rate is for maximum 30 guests and will be first come first served. Once we hit 30 we will see if they can adjust pricing for the group, but we will not agree to adjusted pricing if it increases. So we recommend to not wait if you want this flight. *UPDATE 28/30*

GUESTS TRAVELLING MAY 3rd-7th:

AirTransat does not offer direct flights on May 7th for your return home. We recommend these guests book flights on their own as the one-way price AirTransat offered was not reasonable.

Redtag.ca can combine different airline carriers - if you’d like to fly with our group on May 3rd. Simply scroll until you hit AirTransat flights and click through!

WHEN SEARCHING FLIGHTS: we recommend to use an incognito or private browser and using Google Flights or Redtag to search in order to get lowest prices without search engine tracking (so your history is not tracked and prices increased).

We do not recommend layovers under 1h30, but pay attention to layovers times - many of the more affordable flights have 20+ hours of travel time due to long layovers. So if you choose a flight like that, its worth considering flying out a day early (so you arrive on the intended date).

Google flights has the option to track flight prices and send you notifications when prices drop, so this is also a good option for those looking to save some money on flights!

If you prefer to book flights outside of these group rates (if you have points or vouchers), or those flying May 3rd-7th: please send Nathalie your flight information after booking so she can ensure all guests have flights, airport transfers and hotel booked. We do not want to lose track of any of our guests!
